Training and Employment Opportunities

If you have ever thought about a career as an electrician, Barnett Electric offers paid training opportunities. As you learn and grow, so does your paycheck! Barnett Electric is a company that strives to maintain the highest level of service, and is not for everyone. But if you have the dedication and discipline to work hard and learn a new trade, then get in touch to start your training today.

Training will be completed in 3 main stages, and trainees will be evaluated after each stage. If the company is pleased with your work, you will continue at a higher pay rate in the next stage. Training usually commences on a part-time basis and is flexible in terms of scheduling, so if you're in school or trying to transition from another job, we'll help work with you. But we expect commitment and dedication from all our employees, including interns.

Already Have Experience?

If you already have experience in electrical work you may apply to be taken on as one of our field mechanics. You will need to demonstrate your skills and will be put on an initial probationary period during which you will be evaluated based on your skill level, professionalism, and ability to maintain company standards.
